Saltine High School’s Basketball team defeated Ann Arbor Pioneer high school with a score of 60-48. This is the third win in a row for Saline, who is now 6-4 in conference play and 11-6 overall.

The Saline high school basketball team used a balanced attack to defeat Ann Arbor Pioneer, 66-53. The Hornets had four players score in double figures, led by senior guard Jake Hankins with 16 points.
Senior forward Nick Duhl added 15 points and eight rebounds, junior guard Kyle Bush scored 11 points, and junior forward Justin Zylstra had 10 points and seven rebounds. Saline held Pioneer to just two offensive rebounds and outscored the Pioneers 16-4 in second chance points.
“We talked about rebounding being a key to the game,” said Saline Head Coach Josh Glaser. “We did a good job of boxing out and keeping them off the glass.”

“Pioneer is a quick, athletic team,” said Glaser. “We knew we had to take care of the ball and not give them easy baskets.”
