A look at the Scrappers schedule

The Scrappers schedule is finally here and we could not be more excited! Here is a look at what to expect from our boys of summer.
The Scrappers will open the season at home on Thursday, June 6th, against the Mahoning Valley Dirt Devils The game will start at 7:05 PM and there will be a post-game concert featuring the local band Shortway.

The Scrappers schedule: A break down

The Scrappers schedule is out, and we’ve got a break down of what you can expect from the team this season.

The Scrappers will be playing a total of 76 games this season, 38 of them at home in Mahoning Valley and 38 on the road.

They start the season on the road with a three game series against the West Virginia Black Bears from June 14-16.

Their first Home game is on June 17th against the State College Spikes, and they’ll be finishing up the month with a six game homestand against the Batavia Muckdogs and Auburn Doubledays.

July sees the Scrappers playing host to the New York-Penn League All Star Game on July 11th, as well as a seven game homestand against the Staten Island Yankees and Vermont Lake Monsters

On August 23rd, the Scrappers will be playing in the annual Rogers Hornsby World Series against either the champion of the Appalachian League or Pioneer League

The Scrappers schedule wraps up September 3rd with a three game series on the road against the Aberdeen IronBirds.

The Scrappers have released their 2020 home game schedule and it’s packed with family fun and special promotions! Check out some of the highlights below.

-Opening Night, Thursday, April 16: All fans will receive a free Scrappers pennant, and the first 1,000 will receive a free magnet schedule.

-Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10: All mothers in attendance will receive a free carnation.

-Independence Day, Saturday, July 4: A post-game fireworks show will light up the sky over Lake Erie.

-Bobblehead Nights (5/29, 6/26, 7/31): The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a bobblehead of their favorite Scrapper!
