Kentucky Wildcats
The Kentucky Wildcats are the SEC’s top team this season. They are led by Head Coach John Calipari and a star-studded lineup that includes guard Tyler Herro forward PJ Washington, and center Ashton Hagans. The Wildcats have a perfect 8-0 record in SEC play and are overall 18-3. They have losses to Duke, Louisville, and Seton Hall Kentucky’s next game is against Florida on Saturday, February 15.
Florida Gators
The Florida Gators are the only team in the SEC with just one conference loss, and that came on the road against a very good Tennessee team. The Gators have since rebounded with six straight wins, including a road win over then-No. 5 Auburn.
This top-10 Florida team is led by junior guard KeVaughn Allen, who is averaging 15 points per game The Gators also have a balanced scoring attack with five other players averaging in double figures.
Defensively, Florida is one of the best teams in the country, ranking sixth in Ken Pomeroy’s defensive efficiency ratings. The Gators are holding opponents to just 63.5 points per game which is the second-best mark in the SEC.
Overall, the Florida Gators have been one of the most consistent teams in the SEC this season and they look like they are peaking at the right time.
Tennessee Volunteers

4. Florida Gators The Gators have been one of the most consistent teams in the SEC all season long They will be a tough out in the SEC Tournament
5. Auburn Tigers The Tigers have been up and down all season, but are still a dangerous team. They will be a tough matchup for any team in the SEC tournament
6. Mississippi State Bulldogs- The Bulldogs have been one of the surprise teams in the SEC this season. They will be a tough out in the SEC tournament

Auburn Tigers
1. Auburn Tigers The Tigers are the only team in the SEC with just one conference loss, and that came against Tennessee. Auburn has wins against Ole Miss Missouri, and Kentucky.
2. Tennessee Volunteers The Volunteers have two conference losses, but both came against ranked opponents in Auburn and Kentucky. Tennessee also has a Big Win against Gonzaga.
3. Kentucky Wildcats The Wildcats have three conference losses, but they’ve all come against ranked opponents in Auburn, Tennessee, and LSU. Kentucky’s lone win against a ranked opponent came against Louisville.

LSU Tigers

The Tigers are coming off a dominant performance against Mississippi State in which they won by 20 points. LSU’s defense was especially impressive, as it held the Bulldogs to just 60 points. This was the second consecutive game in which the Tigers have held their opponents to fewer than 70 points.

Missouri Tigers -The tigers didn’t have great expectations going into this season , but they surprised everyone by doing better than expected They’re not going to be making much noise come tournament time , but they’re worth mentioning

The Arkansas Razorbacks basketball team is one of the top 10 teams in the SEC according to Power Rankings They are a force to be reckoned with and have proved it on the court.
Mississippi State Bulldogs

-The Bulldogs are still the top team in the SEC, but they have lost two of their last three games. They will need to regain their form if they want to win the conference tournament

-Last Week: 3 -Kentucky has lost three of its last four games, but those losses were to Auburn, Tennessee, and Mississippi State The Wildcats are still a dangerous team and they will be one of the favorites to win the SEC tournament.
Missouri Tigers
1. Missouri Tigers The Missouri Tigers are currently on a four game winning streak and are looking unstoppable. They have great shooting, defending, and rebounding. Their recent wins include a come from behind victory against the Arkansas Razorbacks and a dominant win against the LSU Tigers
2. Kentucky Wildcats The Kentucky Wildcats are also on a four game winning streak and are looking like they could make a run at the SEC title. They have been led by freshman sensation Immanuel Quickley, who is averaging 16 points per game.

Their lack of an inside scoring threat will be something that will need to be addressed if they want to contend in the tough SEC . Collin Sexton has been doing it all for them offensively he’s currently averaging 19 points per game while shooting 49 percent from three point range .
10 Georgia Bulldogs -The Georgia Bulldogs had some big wins early on in the season defeating then ranked #9 Gonzaga Bulldogs as well as Marquette Golden Eagles but recent losses to Minnesota Golden Gophers and Boston College Eagles show that they still some things to work out . Yante Maten has been their best player so far this season he’s putting up 18 point along with eight rebounds per contest .
