Jake Perkins is a 6’4″ guard who has been with the team for two years now. He’s a great shooter and has a knack for getting to the basket. He’s also a very good defender and is always looking to make a big play on that end of the court.

Ryan Johnson is a 6’6″ forward who just joined the team this year. He’s already made a big impact with his size and ability to score in the post. He’s also a very good rebounder and has a lot of potential on defense.

In just its second year of existence, the Shadow Creek High School Varsity Basketball team has made waves in the Texas high school basketball scene The team finished its inaugural season with a 27-5 record, good for second place in District 23-6A behind only state powerhouse Atascocita high school The team’s success continued into their second season, finishing 29-3 and defeating Atascocita in the district Championship game to earn the program’s first ever district title. In the playoffs, Shadow Creek won its first two games before falling to eventual state semifinalist Memorial High School in the regional quarterfinals.

Despite losing several Key Players from last year’s team to graduation, Shadow Creek looks poised to continue its success next season. The team returns several experienced players, including seniors Jaden McMahon and Rodney Howard, who will provide leadership for a talented group of underclassmen. With a strong core of returning players and some promising newcomers, Shadow Creek looks like a team that will be contend for a state title for years to come.

At Shadow Creek, we are proud to have a Coaching Staff that is dedicated to helping our team succeed. Our coaches have a wealth of experience and knowledge, and they are committed to helping our team reach its full potential.

We are fortunate to have a head coach who has been with the program from its inception. coach John Smith has over 20 years of experience coaching at the high school level, and he knows what it takes to build a successful team. He is a demanding coach, but he also has a great ability to connect with his players and get them to buy into his system.

Coach Smith is ably assisted by two assistant coaches who bring their own unique skills and perspectives to the table. Coach Bill Jones is our defensive specialist, and he does an incredible job of preparing our team for opponents. Coach Jones is also a great motivator, and he always has our team ready to play. Coach Sarah Johnson is our offensive specialist, and she does an amazing job of designing plays that put our players in position to score. She is also a great communicator, and she does a great job of making sure everyone is on the same page.

The Shadow Creek coaching staff is one of the best in the business, and we are confident that they will help us take our game to the next level.
