He is a Sinton high school graduate and played baseball for the University of Texas at Austin He has been coaching youth baseball for the past eight years. Denson is taking over for longtime head coach David Apodaca, who retired after last season.

The assistant coaches for the varsity team are Koy Klages and Blake Bigham. Klages is also a Sinton high school graduate and played baseball at Cisco junior college He has been coaching youth baseball for the past four years. Bigham played baseball at Sam Houston State University and has been coaching youth baseball for the past six years.

The team has won 31 district championships, 20 Regional Championships and 3 State Championships The current Head Coach Jason Hewitt, played for the team in the early 1990s and knows what it takes to bring home a win.
