Williams grew up in Rochester, New York and played AAU Basketball for the Rochester Razorsharks. In High School he was a key player on his team, leading them to a state championship appearance. When it came time to choose a college, Williams knew that he wanted to continue his basketball career He chose St. John Fisher because of its strong Basketball Program and its proximity to home.

Since arriving at St. John Fisher Williams has been a key player for the team. He was recently named the Most Outstanding Player of the Atlantic 10 conference tournament after leading the team to victory. Williams is now preparing for the NCAA tournament where he and his teammates will look to make some noise on the national stage.

Williams went on to play professionally for the Rochester RazorSharks of the Premier Basketball League (PBL). In his only season with the RazorSharks, Williams helped lead the team to a league-best 22-4 record and a spot in the PBL Championship game He averaged 12.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in 24 games for Rochester.
