There is a lot of excitement surrounding the St. John’s Basketball Program right now, and rightfully so. The team is coming off of a successful season in which they made the NCAA tournament and won a game. They also have a talented young core of players that includes shamorie ponds and mustapha heron.

The recruiting class of 2020 is shaping up to be another strong one for St. John’s. Here are some of the top recruits that the team is targeting:

Moses Moody: A 6’6″ shooting guard from Arkansas, Moody is rated as a 5-star recruit by 247Sports. He is an explosive athlete with a great shooting stroke. He would be an instant impact player for the Red Storm

Isaiah Mobley: A 6’9″ Power Forward from Southern California Mobley is also rated as a 5-star recruit by 247Sports. He is a versatile player that can score inside and out.Mobley would be a great addition to the frontcourt alongside Heron and Ponds.

Jalen Duren – A 6’10” center from Philadelphia, Duren is one of the top prospects in the country. He’s a physical player with a strong offensive game. He’s also a good shot blocker and rebounder.
