The team was a powerhouse in the early years of its existence, but then fell on hard times. The team didn’t win another state championship until 2012, when they narrowly defeated Dallas Lincoln in the Championship game Since then, Sulphur Springs has won 3 more state championships in 2013, 2014, and 2015. The team is currently coached by Mark Hill, who has been at the helm since 2010.
