The UC baseball team competes in Division II of the NCAA and is a member of the Mountain East Conference The team plays its home games at Appalachian Power Park a minor league ballpark located just a few blocks from campus.

The University of Charleston’s baseball program is one of the oldest in the country. The program began in 1892 and has been a staple of the university’s athletics ever since.
