As we transition from one season to the next, it’s important for basketball players to maintain their conditioning and improve their skills. There are many ways to do this, but here are some great off-season workouts that will help you get ready for the next season.
1) cardio workout This is a great way to maintain your cardiovascular health and improve your endurance A good cardio workout should include running, cycling, or swimming.
2) Strength training This type of workout will help you Build Muscle and improve your strength. Strength Training can be done with weights, resistance bands or bodyweight exercises.
3) Flexibility training: This type of workout will improve your range of motion and flexibility. Flexibility training can be done with stretches, yoga, or Pilates.
4) Skill development: This type of workout will help you improve your shooting ball handling, and footwork skills. Skill development can be done by practicing drills on your own or attending a Basketball Camp

Under Head Coach John Wooden the Bruins won 10 NCAA championships, including an unprecedented seven in a row from 1967 to 1973. Since Wooden’s retirement in 1975, UCLA has been ranked in the Top 25 in the nation more than half the time, winning four more championships. Current head coach Steve Alford has led the Bruins to two Sweet Sixteen appearances in his first four seasons.
