Recent Results

The University of Evansville baseball team has had a great season so far! Here are some recent results:

The Aces played Southern Illinois University on April 5th and won 9-3.
On April 6th, they defeated Southern Illinois University again, this time with a score of 8-1.
The team’s most recent game was on April 7th against Bradley University The Aces won this game as well, with a final score of 6-4.

The UE Baseball Team is currently in 6th place in the conference with a record of 12-9.

Player Profiles

There are many talented players on the UE baseball team Here are profiles of some of the Top Players

Sophomore Ryan Pruitt is a right-handed pitcher from Henderson, Nevada. He was named to the Perfect Game/Rawlings All-America Honorable Mention team and the All-West Region Second Team as a senior in High School Pruitt was also a member of the 18U national team that won the gold medal at the Pan American Championships in Colombia.

Junior Nick Friar is a left-handed pitcher from San Diego California. He was named to the All-West Region Second Team as a senior in high school Friar was also a member of the 18U National Team that won the gold medal at the Pan American Championships in Colombia.

Senior Riley Hancey is a right-handed pitcher from Las Vegas Nevada. He was named to the All-MWC Second Team as a junior. Hancey was also a member of the 18U National Team that won the gold medal at the Pan American Championships in Colombia.

Sophomore Jack Flaherty is an infielder from Burbank, California. As a senior in high school he was named to the Rawlings-perfect game All-America First Team and was also named the Gatorade Player of the Year for California. Flaherty helped lead his team to a state championship as a junior and was named MVP of the State Tournament

Tickets

The University of Evansville’s Department of Athletics has announced the 2019 UE Baseball Schedule The schedule is highlighted by 31 home games including 18 Missouri Valley Conference contests. The Aces will open the season on February 15 with a four-game series against Liberty.

The UE Baseball team has a long and storied history dating back to 1884. The Aces have won 19 conference titles and appeared in 11 NCAA Tournaments, including five College World Series
