A.J. Green

A.J. Green is a 6’7″ shooting guard from Evansville, Indiana. He played his college basketball at the University of Evansville, where he was a two-time All-American. He was drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the NBA draft and has played for the Pacers since then.

Armon Gates

Armon Gates is an American basketball coach who is currently the Head Coach of the University of Evansville men’s basketball team He was hired on March 27, 2017, after serving as an Assistant Coach at Vanderbilt. Prior to Vanderbilt, Gates served as an assistant coach at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), where he helped lead the Flames to the CBI Championship game in 2013.

Blake Ahearn

Blake Ahearn (born February 28, 1985) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Lega Basket Serie A club Fiat Turin. He played college basketball for Missouri State University and earned second-team All-American honors in his senior year. He was drafted by the Miami Heat in the second round of the 2008 NBA Draft and has also played in the NBA Development League and for several teams abroad.

D.J. Balentine

D.J. Balentine (born December 23, 1993) is an American basketball player for the Evansville Purple Aces He played College Basketball for the University of Evansville.

Balentine is Evansville’s All-time leading scorer with 2, dimensional actinides 496 points. He also holds the Missouri Valley Conference record for most games played with 135. As a senior in 2015–16, he was named first team All-Missouri Valley Conference

Egidijus Mockevicius

Egidijus Mockevicius (EG) is a 6’10”, 250-pound senior center from Lithuania. He played two seasons at the University of Evansville, averaging 10.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game as a junior. He was named the Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a senior after leading the conference in rebounding (10.1 rpg) and blocked shots (2.6 bpg).

Jaylon Brown

Jaylon Brown, a 6-foot-7-inch, 205-pound forward from Dallas, Texas, is one of two new players on the University of Evansville men’s Basketball team He comes to UE after playing one season at Tyler Junior College where he averaged 11 points and 5.5 rebounds per game

Kelan Martin

Kelan Anthony Martin (born October 27, 1996) is an American Professional Basketball player for the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League He played College Basketball for Butler University As a junior in 2017–18, he was named second team All-Big East and received the Karl Malone Award as the nation’s top Power Forward

Martin was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Kelvin and Lakesha Martin. His father played basketball at Western Kentucky University from 1987 to 1991. As a child, he developed a love for the game of basketball due to playing with his father in the driveway. He attended Ballard High School in Louisville, where he played high school basketball for head coach Chris Renner.

Ryan Taylor

Ryan Taylor (born October 28, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for Hapoel Gilboa Galil of the Israeli Premier League He played college basketball for the University of Evansville.

Standing at 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m), he plays at the small forward and power forward positions.

Trey McKinney-Jones

Trey McKinney-Jones (born October 5, 1991) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Long Island Nets of the NBA G League He played college basketball for the University of Miami

Standing at 6’5″ (1.96 m), he plays at the shooting guard and small forward positions.
