The Trailblazers have won a total of 25 conference championships and made 12 appearances in the NJCAA World Series VU has produced dozens of Major League Baseball players, including Hall of Famer Lou Boudreau and All-Stars Greg Luzinski and Steve Ontiveros.

A Brief History of Vincennes University Baseball

Vincennes University has a long and proud tradition of baseball excellence. The team has been in existence for over a hundred years, and in that time they have won numerous championships and produced many Major League Baseball players.

The early years of Nes Baseball were very successful, with the team winning several conference championships. In the 1950s, the team really began to shine, winning four consecutive conference titles from 1950 to 1953. This success continued into the 1960s, as the team won two more conference championships in 1966 and 1967.

The 1970s were a bit of a down period for NES baseball but the team rebounded in the 1980s, winning another conference championship in 1982. The 1990s were another decade of success for Vincennes, as the team won three more conference championships, in 1991, 1992, and 1999.

Since 2000, Vincennes has continued to be one of the top baseball programs in the country. The team has won four more conference championships, in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003. In addition to their on-field success, Vincennes has also had many players drafted by Major League Baseball teams.
