The Washington Wild Things are Headed to the Playoffs!
The Washington Wild Things are excited to announce that they have clinched a spot in the 2019 Frontier League Playoffs! This is the first time since 2015 that the team has made it to the playoffs, and they are looking to make a run at the championship title.
The Wild Things will take on the Florence Freedom in the first round of the playoffs, with the first game taking place on September 5th at 7:05pm at Cashman Field in Florence, Kentucky. The second game of the series will be played on September 6th at 7:05pm at Consol Energy Park in Washington, Pennsylvania.
If necessary, a third and deciding game will be played on September 7th at 7:05pm, also at Consol Energy Park. Tickets for all home Playoff Games are now on sale, and can be purchased by calling the Wild Things ticket office at (724) 250-9555 or by visiting www.washingtonwildthings.com.

The Wild Things finished the 2018 season with a record of 83-51, good for second place in the East Division. The team’s manager is Steve Foucault.
The Wild Things made the playoffs in 2015 as an East Division Wild Card team, and again in 2016 as the East Division champions. They were defeated by the Traverse City Beach Bums in the 2015 Frontier League Championship Series and by the Joliet Slammers in the 2016 Frontier League Championship Series
