The Wolfpack Hockey team has a long tradition of winning, dating back to its inception in the early 1970s. The team has won multiple championships at the youth, Junior, and professional levels, cementing its place as one of the premier hockey programs in the world.

The Rivalries

Wolfpack Hockey is one of the best and most successful Hockey teams in the business. They have a strong history of rivalries with other teams, which only makes their games more exciting to watch.

The Coaches

No product is successful without a Great Coach and the Wolfpack hockey team is no different. The team has had a number of great coaches over the years who have helped to develop the team into the powerhouse it is today.

The current Head Coach is Scott Gordon, who has been with the team since 2018. He has led the team to back-to-back conference championships and is considered one of the best coaches in the business.

Prior to Gordon, the team was coached by John Stevens from 2014 to 2018. Stevens led the team to its first conference championship in 2015 and was named Coach of the Year that season.

Before Stevens, Peter Laviolette was the head coach from 2009 to 2014. Laviolette helped to turn the team around after a rough start to his tenure and led them to their first Stanley Cup Final appearance in 2010.

The Players

The Carolina Hurricanes are a professional Ice Hockey team based in Raleigh, North Carolina They are members of the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Hurricanes play their home games at the PNC Arena. The franchise was formed in 1971 as the New England Whalers, and since relocating to North Carolina in 1997, the team has been known as the Hartford Whalers and then the Carolina Hurricanes

The current roster features a mix of experienced veterans and young up-and-comers. Among the most accomplished players on the team are defenseman Justin Faulk and goaltender Cam Ward, who were both key members of the Hurricanes’ Stanley Cup winning squad in 2006. Forward Sebastian Aho, meanwhile, is one of the NHL’s most exciting young talents and is already established as one of the team’s leaders.
