Class 1A
-First Round
– #16 Lifeway Christian Academy vs. #17 Hooversville, 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 3
– #15 Immaculate Conception vs. #18 Northside Christian, 6:00 PM, Tuesday, March 3
-Second Round
– Winner of Lifeway/Hooversville vs. #1 seed Lincoln Park 6:00 PM, Friday, March 6
– Winner of Immaculate/Northside vs. #2 seed Georgetown, 8:00 PM, Friday, March 6

The WPIAL Basketball Tournament is a single-elimination tournament held annually to determine the champions of each weight class in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association’s (PIAA) District 7. The tournament seeds are determined by sectional results.

The WPIAL basketball season is Here! The brackets have been released and the matchups are set. Below you will find all of the information you need to know about the upcoming season

The WPIAL Basketball Playoffs are set to begin on February 18th. All of the games will be played at neutral sites. The first round matchups are as follows:

(1) New Castle vs. (8) South Fayette
(2) Hampton vs. (7) Mars
(3) Pine-Richland vs. (6) North Allegheny
(4) Mt. Lebanon vs. (5) Upper St. Clair

The quarterfinals will be played on February 25th, with the semifinals taking place on March 3rd. The WPIAL Championship game will be played on March 10th at a time and location to be determined.

The WPIAL Basketball Tournament is Coming!

The WPIAL Basketball Tournament is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year for High School basketball fans The brackets have finally been released, and there are some great matchups in store.

In the boys’ tournament, defending champion New Castle will look to repeat, but they will have their hands full with a talented group of teams. In the girls’ tournament, Pittsburg will be looking to three-peat as champions.

The first round of the tournament will begin on February 18th, so make sure you mark your calendars and get your tickets early!

The highly anticipated WPIAL Basketball Brackets are finally here! 64 teams from around the Pittsburgh area will compete for a chance to be crowned WPIAL Champions and advance to the Pennsylvania State Basketball Tournament

The first round of the tournament will take place on Tuesday, February 18th. The Quarterfinals will be played on Friday, February 21st and Saturday, February 22nd. The Semifinals will take place on Tuesday, February 25th and Wednesday, February 26th. The WPIAL Championships will be held on Saturday, March 1st at a location to be determined.

The highly anticipated WPIAL Basketball Playoffs are finally here! The brackets were released today and there are some great match-ups in store. Here is a quick look at some of the top games

In the Class 6A boys bracket, top-seeded Mount Lebanon will take on 16th-seeded Baldwin in the first round. This should be a great game as both teams are very strong.

In the Class 5A girls bracket, second-seeded South Fayette will take on 15th-seeded Obama Academy. This is sure to be a close game as both teams have been playing very well this season.

The Class 4A boys bracket features a first-round matchup between third-seeded New Castle and 14th-seeded Knoch. This should be a great game as both teams are expected to compete for the title this year.
