Upcoming games
The West Texas A&M University Buffaloes baseball team has a busy schedule ahead! Here are some of the upcoming games:
April 5 – 7: The Buffaloes will take on Texas A&M Kingsville for a three-game series Games will start at 6:00 pm on Friday, 2:00 pm on Saturday, and 1:00 pm on Sunday.
April 12 – 14: Commerce will come to town for another three-game series. Games will start at 6:00 pm on Friday, 2:00 pm on Saturday, and 1:00 pm on Sunday.

Team history
The West Texas A&M Buffaloes baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas, United States The team is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and the Lone Star Conference. West Texas A&M’s first Baseball Team was fielded in 1910. The team plays its home games at Wilder Park. The Buffaloes are coached by Kevin Higgins.
Rivalries
The West Texas A&M University (WTAMU) Baseball team has several rivals, which make for some great games to watch! Here is a look at some of their most heated rivalries.
TheWTAMU Buffs have a long-standing rivalry with the Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) Greyhounds. The two teams first squared off in 1952 and they have been playing each other ever since. The rivalry is one of the most evenly matched in all of Collegiate Baseball with WTAMU holding a slight edge with a record of 73-72.
The Buffs also enjoy a healthy rivalry with the UT Permian Basin Falcons. The two teams are relative newcomers to Division II baseball but they have quickly developed a strong rivalry. The Falcons hold a slight edge in the series, with a record of 7-5.
Finally, theBuffaloes have developed a strong rivalry with the Midwestern State University Mustangs. The two teams first met in 1998 and have been playing each other regularly ever since. The series is currently even at 12-12.
