2015 Nba Mock Draft

The NBA draft is one of the most anticipated moments of the year for sports fans and analysts alike. The first round is where teams find their franchise players, and this year’s draft had a lot to offer.

Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving is expected to be one of the Top Picks in the upcoming NBA Draft The former Duke point guard is widely considered one of the best players in his class, and has drawn comparisons to some of the NBA’s best playmakers.

Irving is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound point guard from West Orange, New Jersey. He played one season at Duke, where he averaged 17.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He was named the ACC Rookie of the Year and was a consensus First-Team All-American.

Mock drafts have Irving going anywhere from first to fifth overall in the draft, but most have him pegged as a top-three pick. Wherever he ends up, Irving is expected to be an immediate impact player in the NBA.

De’Aaron Fox

De’Aaron Fox is a 6’3″ point guard from the University of Kentucky He is projected to be a lottery pick in the 2017 NBA Draft He averaged 16.7 points, 4.6 assists, and 4.0 rebounds per game as a freshman for the Wildcats.

Lonzo Ball

With the first pick in the 2015 NBA Mock Draft the Los Angeles Lakers select… Lonzo Ball! The Lakers are absolutely thrilled to be able to draft Ball, a 6’6″ point guard out of UCLA. Many scouts have compared Ball to Magic Johnson and while that may be a bit of a stretch, there’s no doubt that he has the potential to be a very special player.

Ball is an excellent passer with great Court Vision and he has the size and strength to battle bigger guards on the defensive end. He’s also an excellent shooter, although his unorthodox Shooting Form may take some time to get used to at the next level. Regardless, there’s no question that Ball is one of the most talented players in this year’s Draft Class and he should be a very impactful player for the Lakers right from day one.

Josh Jackson

Josh Jackson is a 68 freshman small forward from the University of Kansas He is one of the top prospects in the 2017 NBA draft Jackson is a very good shooter and has a High Basketball IQ. He is also a very good defender.

Jayson Tatum

Tatum is a 68, 205 lb. small forward from St. Louis, Missouri. He played his freshman season of college basketball for Duke University He was a 5-star recruit and was ranked as the second best player in his class.

In his one season at Duke, Tatum averaged 16.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game He shot 45.2% from the field and 34.5% from three-point range He was named to the ACC All-Freshman team and the Second Team All-ACC. He helped lead Duke to the Sweet Sixteen of the 2017 NCAA tournament

Mock drafts have Tatum being drafted anywhere from 3rd to 10th overall in the 2017 NBA draft

Lauri Markkanen

With the 7th overall pick in the 2015 NBA mock draft the Denver Nuggets select

Lauri Markkanen, PF, Arizona

Markkanen is a name that has been getting a lot of attention lately as he has impressed scouts with his play. The Finnish native is a freshman at Arizona and is playing both Power Forward and small forward He has good size at 611 and 225 pounds and has shown the ability to score inside and out. His shooting touch is what sets him apart from other prospects as he is a very good three-point shooter. He needs to continue to develop his all-around game, but he has the potential to be a very good player in the NBA.

Dennis Smith Jr.

Dennis Smith Jr. is a freshman point guard from North Carolina State He is projected to be a high lottery pick in the 2017 NBA Draft

Jonathan Isaac

Jonathan Isaac is a freshman power forward from Florida State He is tall and skinny, but he has the potential to be a very good player in the NBA. He is a good shooter and has the ability to stretch the floor. He is also a good rebounder and shot blocker. He needs to add some weight and get stronger, but he has the potential to be a very good player in the NBA.

Frank Ntilikina

Frank Ntilikina is a 6’5″, 190-pound shooting guard from Strasbourg, France. He is a freshman at the Cannes Institute and is considered one of the top prospects in the class of 2015. In his native France, Ntilikina plays for Strasbourg’s junior team and has also been a member of the French Under-16 and Under-18 national teams.

Ntilikina has good size for a shooting guard and is an excellent shooter from three-point range. He is a very smooth player with good athleticism and a High Basketball IQ. Ntilikina is a very good ball-handler and passer and has the ability to play point guard if needed. He is an excellent defender with good lateral quickness and length.

Ntilikina is widely considered one of the top international prospects in the class of 2015 and he is expected to be drafted in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft

Malik Monk

Malik Monk is an American college basketball player for the Kentucky Wildcats He is a 6-foot-3-inch (1.91 m) guard that plays shooting guard and point guard He was one of the top recruits in the class of 2016, and was ranked as the number 6 player in his class by ESPN. He is projected to be a lottery pick in the 2017 NBA Draft
