The 2017 NBA All Star Game was an exhibition basketball game that was played on February 19, 2017. This year’s game was played at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and it featured some of the best players in the league. The game was televised nationally on TNT.

The format of the game followed that of previous years, with the two teams being selected by captains. The captains were chosen by a vote among the player’s themselves. This year’s captains were Lebron James and Stephen Curry

The two teams were then drafted by the captains, with each captain choosing 12 players for their team. The starting lineups for each team were chosen by a vote of the fans, who could vote for any player they wanted regardless of which team they were on.
