What the schedule means for the team
The release of the schedule is always an exciting time for college basketball fans. For the first time, we can start to see how our team will stack up against the competition and what kind of challenges they will face.
For the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks this season’s schedule is full of tough tests. They will open up against a talented UC Irvine team, followed by a road trip to take on a very good Texas Tech squad. After that, they will have a string of games against lesser opponents that they should be able to win.
However, the meat of their schedule comes in the middle of conference play They will have to take on some of the best teams in the Big Sky Conference including last year’s regular season champions Weber State
The schedule is not easy by any means, but it should give the Lumberjacks a chance to show what they are made of. If they can come out of it with a winning record, they will be in good shape heading into the postseason.
