The Sacramento State men’s basketball team defeated UC Davis on Saturday night, extending their Winning Streak to four games. With the victory, the Hornets improve to 9-7 on the season and 4-2 in conference play

On Saturday, the Sacramento State Hornets men’s Basketball team defeated the UC Davis Aggies, 66-54. The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than six points at any time. The Hornets were led by senior guard Jiday Ugbaja, who scored 19 points. UC Davis was led by junior guard Joe Mooney, who scored 17 points.

In 1968, the Hornets defeated UC Santa Barbara before falling to Seattle Pacific In 1970, they lost to Pepperdine in the first round. The program gained NCAA Division I status in 1991 and joined the Big Sky Conference
