Dave Van Horn is the current head Baseball Coach of the University of Arkansas. He has held this position since 2003. The Arkansas baseball team has won eight conference championships under Van Horn’s leadership, and he has been named the SEC Coach of the Year three times. In 2018, Coach Van Horn led the Razorbacks to their first ever College World Series championship.

Van Horn began his coaching career at the University of Southern Mississippi. He then spent four years as an Assistant Coach at Auburn University before becoming Head Coach at Northwestern State University He was named National Coach of the Year in 2000 after leading Northwestern State to the College World Series

University of Arkansas baseball coach Dave Van Horn has been selected as the recipient of the 2018 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Lefty Gomez Award. The award, which is presented annually to a coach who has exemplified outstanding accomplishments in coaching, was presented to Van Horn at the ABCA Coaches Convention in Indianapolis on Thursday.
