This will be the fourth time that Nashville has hosted the SEC tournament The last time was in 2001.

– SecuringAdditional Parking: In order to accommodate all the fans expected to attend the games, Tennessee has been working with local businesses to secure additional parking near Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.

– Working with Local Hotels: The school has also been working with local hotels in order to make sure there are enough rooms available for all the fans and families coming in for the tournament.

– Preparing Volunteers: In addition to making sure everything is in place physically, Tennessee is also making sure its student volunteers are ready for their roles during the tournament. The school has been holding training sessions for students who will be working at Will Call, assisting with media relations and serving as bat Boys and Girls during games.

“Our student volunteers are a big part of what makes SEC Baseball so special,” said Vitello. “We’re fortunate to have a great group of students who are passionate about baseball and excited to help out however they can.”
