Jake Charles is a freshman from Wichita, Kansas. He attended Wichita Heights High School where he was a four-year starter and helped lead his team to the State Championships Charles was also named an All-State performer.
Landon Powell is a sophomore from Andover, Kansas. Powell transferred to Cowley College after spending his freshman year at Hutchinson Community College He is a talented hitter who should provide a boost to the Tigers’ offense.
Ryan Shinn is a sophomore from Missouri City, Missouri. Shinn was a Standout Player at Francis Howell Central high school where he was named an All-State performer. He has the potential to be one of the best outfielders in Region VI this season.
The Catchers
The Cowley College baseball team is set to have a very successful season with the talent they have on their roster. Among those talented players are the catchers.
Drew Goddard is a returning starter and was named an NJCAA Division I First-Team All-American and the Jayhawk West Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Goddard threw out 21 baserunners last season and had a .993 Fielding percentage
Freshman Will Hutchason will be backing up Goddard. Hutchason was a four-time all-state selection in Kansas and his senior year he was named the state’s Gatorade Player of the Year. He was also a two-time all-region selection in baseball and helped lead his team to a state championship in 2017.
The Coaching Staff
