In 2008, the Loons finished the season with a 68-71 record and again finished last in their division. They improved to fifth place in 2009 with a 73-66 record but failed to make the playoffs. In 2010, they again finished fifth with a 74-65 record but this time qualified for the playoffs by defeating the Dayton Dragons 2-1 in a one-game playoff. They lost to the South Bend Silver Hawks 3-1 in the first round of the playoffs.
