“We’ve definitely come a long way since our freshman year,” Paolucci said. “We’ve grown as a team and we’ve really come together as a group.”
The team’s success has not gone unnoticed by the student body, either. The stands at Muhlenberg baseball games have been steadily filling up over the past few years, and this season has seen a marked increase in attendance.
“It’s great to see so many people coming out to support us,” DeRose said. “It really gets us going when we see how passionate our fans are.”
With their final season underway, Paolucci, DeRose and Bregman are hoping to go out on a high note and leave a lasting legacy at Muhlenberg.

The team’s opponents
Muhlenberg baseball has seen a significant uptick in recent years becoming a regular contender in the Centennial Conference. The team’s opponents are some of the best in Division III baseball and they frequently battle for the conference title
While the team has had some great individual players over the years, it is the team’s unity that has been its biggest strength. The team is close-knit and always works hard to support each other on and off the field.
This season, Muhlenberg baseball is looking to take things to the next level and win the Conference Championship The team has high hopes and is eager to prove that it is one of the best Division III baseball teams in the country.
The team’s postseason prospects
The Muhlenberg Baseball Team is coming off a great season in which they posted a 30-12 record, good for second place in the Centennial Conference. The team’s success was largely due to the pitching of ace Max Scherzer who went 10-1 on the year with a 1.69 ERA. The team will look to build on this success in the postseason, and they have a good chance to do so.
The team’s first game will be against Dickinson, a team that they have beaten twice this season. The Muhlenberg pitchers will need to be on their game, as Dickinson has some good hitters in their lineup. However, if the Muhlenberg pitchers can keep them in check, the team has a good chance to win.
The second game will be against Gettysburg, a team that finished third in the conference. Gettysburg is a solid team, but they do not have the same kind of firepower as Dickinson. If the Muhlenberg pitchers can contain Gettysburg’s hitters, they should be able to come out with a victory.
The third and final game will be against Franklin & Marshall, the conference champions. Franklin & Marshall is a very good team, and they will be tough to beat. However, if the Muhlenberg pitchers can pitch like they did all season long they have a chance to pull off the upset and advance to the next round of the playoffs.
The team’s ultimate goal
The Muhlenberg Baseball team’s ultimate goal is to make it to the College World Series The team has been working hard and their coach believes that they have what it takes to make it all the way. The team’s first game is against Gettysburg on March 3rd.
