Nebraska Little League Baseball is Back!
After a one-year hiatus, Nebraska Little League Baseball is back and better than ever! With new safety protocols in place, we’re excited to welcome back players, coaches, and families to the diamond.
Here’s what you need to know for the 2021 season:
-All games will be played at the Rose Bowl in Omaha
-Each team will play 10 regular season games
-The top four teams will advance to the playoffs
-The playoffs will consist of a single elimination tournament
-The Championship game will be played on August 1st

The History of Nebraska Little League Baseball
Nebraska Little League Baseball is back this year after a one-year hiatus! The league was originally founded in Omaha in 1951 and has been a staple of Nebraska youth baseball ever since.
Over the years, the league has seen its share of ups and downs, but it has always persevered. In recent years the league has struggled with declining participation and dwindling resources. However, thanks to the hard work of its volunteers and supporters, Nebraska Little League Baseball is once again providing children across the state with the opportunity to enjoy America’s Favorite Pastime
The league is currently made up of four divisions: Minor (ages 7-10), Major (ages 11-12), Junior (ages 13-14), and Senior (ages 15-16). Each division is divided into two leagues, North and South. The North League consists of teams from Omaha, Lincoln, and Grand Island while the South League consists of teams from Bellevue, Fremont, Kearney, Hastings, Norfolk, North Platte, and South Sioux City.

This year, the league is made up of 10 teams from across the state, including the Omaha Stormchasers, Lincoln Saltdogs, and Grand Island Cardinals. each team will play 20 regular season games, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs.
