In 2009, the team made it to the playoffs for the first time in school history. They defeated Penn State Beaver in the first round, but lost to eventual champion Penn State Hazleton in the semifinals.
The team has seen a lot of success in recent years thanks in large part to Head Coach Chris Howard. Howard took over as head coach in 2014, and has led the team to four straight conference championships and three consecutive trips to the USCAA World Series
