Uno’s Outfield

Uno’s History

The Omaha Storm Chasers are a Minor League Baseball team that plays in the Pacific Coast League The Storm Chasers are the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals The franchise was founded in 1969 as the Omaha Royals, an affiliate of the Kansas City Royals The team played their home games at Rosenblatt Stadium from 1969 to 2010. In 2011, the team moved to Werner Park in Papillion, Nebraska, and changed their name to the Storm Chasers.

The Storm Chasers have won nine league championships: seven in the PCL (1969, 1970, 1978, 1990, 1991, 1998, and 1999) and two in the American Association (2011 and 2013).

Leading the way for the team are sluggers Jake “the Beast” Baxter and Ryan “Crash” Cassidy. These two will provide the power that the Uno lineup needs to put runs on the board.

The pitching staff is anchored by ace starter Mark Reynolds. Reynolds has been dominant this season, posting a 0.96 ERA through his first nine starts. He will be backed up by a solid group of relievers, led by closer Sean “Lightning” O’Malley.
