The next home games are against Akron on Tuesday, April 16th and Wednesday, April 17th. The first game will start at 6:00 PM and the second game will start at 3:05 PM.

Player statistics

The 2018 season was one to remember for the Fighting Scots Baseball Team They boasted a 30-11 record and made it all the way to the conference championship game. Along the way, several players put up some tremendous statistical performances. Here’s a look at some of the top numbers from last year:

Pitcher Jake Stukey led the team with a 2.48 ERA, while racking up 72 strikeouts in just 67 innings pitched Outfielder Alex Ludwick was the top hitter, batting .333 with 10 home runs and 37 RBIs. Ludwick also led the team in stolen bases swiping 20 bags in 22 attempts. Fellow outfielder Andrew Kortz was right behind him with a .325 batting average while hitting 8 home runs and driving in 34 runs.

These are just some of the talented players that made up last year’s squad. Be sure to catch them in action this spring as they look to build on their success from 2018!

The Wooster baseball team has a long and storied history, dating back to the early days of the sport. The team has won numerous championships and has produced some of the game’s biggest stars. Today, the Wooster baseball team is one of the most successful programs in the country. Check out the schedule below to see when the team is in action.

Rivalries

There are a few local rivalries that the team is particularly excited about this season. The first is against Ashland. The team has a long-standing rivalry with Ashland dating back to the early days of theWooster baseball program The second rivalry is against Mansfield. This rivalry is relatively new, but the team is looking forward to continuing to build it in the coming years.

Fans

As the school year comes to an end, students and staff look forward to the warmer weather and activities that come with it. For many, summertime means baseball season The Wooster Oilers are a historic Baseball Team in Woooster, Ohio, and play in the Pennsylvania-Ohio-Maryland League (POM). The team is made up of student-athletes from The College of Wooster and other local colleges. Games are typically held on Tuesday evenings at Art Invasion Field, located at 528 N. Market St.

The Oilers have a long tradition of success on the field, and this year is no different. As of May 30th, the team is 14-3 in league play and 20-7 overall. They have several exciting home games coming up in June, so be sure to check out the schedule below and come out to support your Wooster Oilers!
