The Wvu baseball team has started their season with a record of 10-3. This is a great start for the team, and they are looking to continue their Winning Streak The team has been playing well, and they are hoping to make a run at the playoffs.
Wvu’s Great Start to the Season
The Wvu Mountaineers have gotten off to a great start this season. They are 10-3 and their pitching has been great. Their defense has also been very good. They have only given up 3 runs in their last 3 games.
Wvu’s Pitching Staff
The West Virginia University baseball team is 10-3 on the season with a 2.67 ERA, which is currently the best in the Big 12 conference. The Mountaineers have had great success on the mound so far this season, led by their pitching staff. Their starters have been especially impressive, posting a 1.96 ERA in 57 innings pitched
The WVU pitching staff has been stellar all season long but they have been especially dominant in conference play In six Big 12 games, they have allowed just seven earned runs in 48 innings pitched, good for a ridiculously low 1.13 ERA. They have also struck out 60 batters while walking just 15 in those six games.

West Virginia University’s Baseball Team has an impressive hitting record so far this season. They are 10-3 on the season, with a .333 batting average and 31 home runs The team is led by senior first baseman Andrew McCutchen who is batting .474 with four home runs and 19 RBIs.

In 2014, the Wvu baseball team had a Fielding percentage of .981, which was sixth in the Big 12 and 26th in the NCAA. The Mountaineers had 434 putouts and 453 assists. They had a total of 987 chances.

The WVU baseball team holds a 10-3 record for the season. They have shown much success in Base running with a total of 83 stolen bases They have also shown to be proficient in the field, committing only 4 errors.
Wvu’s Coaching Staff
Coach Dana LeDuc –
Dana LeDuc is in her first season as an Assistant Coach for the West Virginia University softball team She will primarily work with the Mountaineers’ hitters and outfielders.
A member of five different professional softball Hall of Fames, LeDuc boasts an impressive resume, which includes stops at the University of Michigan Louisiana State University Texas A&M University and the University of South Carolina as well as a stint with the United States Olympic team.
Wvu’s Fans
This year, Wvu’s Baseball Team has had an incredible season with a record of 10-3. The team’s fans are some of the most dedicated and passionate in the country, and they are a big reason why the team has been so successful. Without the support of the fans, Wvu would not be where it is today.

Although their 10-3 record against Ranked opponents is good, Wvu’s lack of conference wins is concerning.
Wvu’s game against Oklahoma State was postponed due to bad weather, which means that they have only played 1 out of their 4 required conference games. In order for Wvu to have a chance at making the conference tournament they need to start winning their conference games.
