Zion Williamson goes to New Orleans Pelicans with the first overall pick

Ja Morant goes to Memphis Grizzlies with the second overall pick

In the 2019 NBA Draft the Memphis Grizzlies chose Ja Morant with the second overall pick. Morant, a point guard from Murray State University is known for his scoring and playmaking abilities. He averaged 24.5 points per game and 10.0 assists per game during his collegiate career.

RJ Barrett goes to New York Knicks with the third overall pick

Darius Garland goes to Cleveland Cavaliers with the fifth overall pick

The Cleveland Cavaliers selected point guard Darius Garland with the fifth overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft The 19-year-old from Vanderbilt is a 6-foot-2, 192-pounder who averaged 16.2 points, 3.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game during his one season in college.

The Cavaliers also hold the 26th and 30th overall picks in the draft. They used the 26th pick to select guard Dylan Windler from Belmont University and the 30th pick on center Kevin Porter Jr. from USC.

Coby White goes to Chicago Bulls with the seventh overall pick

De’Andre Hunter goes to Atlanta Hawks with the eighth overall pick

In the 2019 NBA Draft De’Andre Hunter was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the eighth overall pick. The Hawks then traded Hunter to the New Orleans Pelicans as part of a package deal that saw the Hawks acquire No. 4 pick Cameron Reddish and No. 17 pick Bruno Fernando.

Jaxson Hayes goes to New Orleans Pelicans with the ninth overall pick

In the 2019 NBA Draft the New Orleans Pelicans chose Jaxson Hayes with the ninth overall pick. Hayes is a center from the University of Texas. He is six feet, eleven inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.

Hayes joins a Pelicans team that includes fellow 2019 draft picks Zion Williamson (first overall pick), Nickeil Alexander-Walker (17th overall pick), and Marcos Louzada Silva (35th overall pick).

Rui Hachimura goes to Washington Wizards with the eleventh overall pick

Rui Hachimura was drafted by the Washington Wizards with the eleventh overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft He is a Japanese professional basketball player for the Wizards. Hachimura played college basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs and was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year in 2019.

Cameron Reddish goes to Atlanta Hawks with the twelfth overall pick

The 2019 NBA draft is in the books, with a new crop of rookies set to enter the league. Cameron Reddish went to the Atlanta Hawks with the twelfth overall pick, making him the first Duke player drafted in 2019. Reddish is a 6’8″ wing who averaged 13.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game last season.

Tyler Herro goes to Miami Heat with the thirteenth overall pick

In the 2019 NBA Draft the Miami Heat selected shooting guard Tyler Herro out of Kentucky with the thirteenth overall pick. Herro is a 6’5″, 195-pound guard who averaged 19.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 0.9 steals per game during his lone collegiate season with the Wildcats. He shot 46.2% from the field and 35.5% from three-point range en route to being named SEC Freshman of the Year and a Second Team All-SEC selection.
