2021 Acc field hockey Championship – Overview

The 2021 ACC Field hockey Championship will be held from November 5-7 at the Wake Forest Field Hockey Complex in Winston-Salem, North Carolina The event will feature all eight ACC teams and will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks.

This will be the first time since 2009 that the ACC Field Hockey Championship will be held at a neutral site, and just the second time since 2001. The last time the event was held in Winston-Salem, North Carolina was in 2008.

Wake Forest is the two-time defending ACC champion, having won back-to-back titles in 2019 and 2020. The Demon Deacons are currently ranked No. 1 in the nation and are undefeated this season with a 15-0 record. They will be looking to become the first team to win three straight ACC titles since Virginia did so from 1991 to 1993.

2021 Acc Field hockey Championship – Schedule

The 2021 ACC Field Hockey Championship will be held from October 28-31 at the Wake Forest Field Hockey Complex in Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Wake Forest will host the six-team tournament for the fourth straight year and 11th time overall. The event will feature four quarterfinal games on Thursday, Oct. 28, followed by two semifinal contests on Friday, Oct. 29. The Championship game will be played on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 1 p.m., and will be televised live on RSN.

The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) field hockey Championship is an annual tournament to determine the conference champion of the ACC. The tournament has been held every year since 1981. It is a single-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. The team with the best record in the conference is given the number one seed, the team with the second-best record is given the number two seed, and so on.

2021 Acc Field Hockey Championship – Format

The format for the 2021 ACC Field Hockey Championship has been announced. The top four seeds will receive a first-round bye and the quarterfinals will be played on Friday, November 5. The semifinals will be played on Sunday, November 7 and the Championship game will be played on Tuesday, November 9. All games will be played at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina and will be televised on RSN.

The 2021 ACC field hockey Championship will be the 45th edition of the tournament. It will be held from November 5–7, 2021 at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina

The Boston College Eagles are the two-time defending champions, having defeated the Syracuse Orange in the 2019 final, 3–0. The Eagles have won a record six ACC titles.

2021 Acc field hockey Championship – Tickets

The 2021 ACC field hockey Championship will be played at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC on Friday and Sunday, November 5 & 7. All games will be played at Kentner Stadium.

The 2021 ACC Field Hockey Championship is open to the public. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase through the Wake Forest athletics ticket office and ticketmaster.com. All games will also be streamed live on ACC Network Extra (available on the ESPN app).

The 2021 ACC field hockey Championship will be televised on the Regional Sports Networks of the Atlantic Coast Conference The RSNs are FOX Sports South, Fox sports Carolinas, FOX Sports Florida, and Sun Sports. The Tar Heels are the top seed in this year’s tournament and will look to defend their title. Duke, Virginia, and Wake Forest are also seeded in the top four and will be looking to upset North Carolina
