A Look Inside Wake Forest’s New Basketball Arena

The new arena for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons is set to open this Fall 2017 semester and we got an exclusive look inside!

Location

Wake Forest’s New basketball arena is located at the north end of campus, adjacent to the Dining Hall and Student Union. The arena is situated on 17 acres of land and is approximately 360,000 square feet. It is the largest arena in the Atlantic Coast Conference and can seat up to 22,000 fans.

Design

When it comes to designing a basketball arena Wake Forest had some very specific goals in mind. They wanted an intimate space that would be loud and exciting, while still providing a great view of the court from every seat. They also wanted to create a space that would be unique to Wake Forest and would help them stand out from other schools.

To achieve these goals, the school worked with a team of architects and designers to come up with a design that would meet their needs. The end result is an arena that is both modern and timeless, with a few unique features that make it truly special.

One of the most notable features of the arena is its glass façade. The glass allows natural light to flood into the space, making it feel bright and open. It also provides views of the surrounding campus, which helps to create a sense of community within the arena.

Another unique feature of the arena is its seating configuration. The seats are arranged in such a way that every seat has a perfect view of the court, no matter where you are sitting. This ensures that everyone in the arena will be able to see all the action, no matter where they are sitting.

The last unique feature of the arena is its acoustics. The design team worked hard to ensure that the space would be loud and exciting, and they succeeded. The acoustics in the arena are some of the best in the country, making it one of the most deafening arenas in college basketball
