The NBA has seen a lot of changes over the years. The league is now dominated by players from outside the United States and the game itself has evolved into an art form with more than just one way to win. These changes have brought new levels of excitement and unpredictability to basketball, which is why many people believe that it will never be the same again.

All-American Teams
The All-American teams are selected by different organizations. The most prestigious teams are the ones selected by the Associated Press (AP), United Press International (UPI), National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), and the United States basketball writers Association (USBWA).
The AP selections began in 1948, UPI in 1961, NABC in 1969, and USBWA in 1977. Before 1957, only one team was recognized by all four organizations. From 1957 to 1988, four teamsreferred to as the “Unanimous Choices”were selected each year. In 198889, only three teams were so honored. Since 1990, when the UPI stopped selecting a team, the AP and NABC have been responsible for naming all four squads each season.
The SEC has had at least one player named to an All-American Team every year since 1977.
All-Conference Teams
The All-SEC basketball team for the 202122 season will be composed of ten players Five players will be selected from the conference’s coaches, and five players will be selected by media members who cover the SEC. The team will consist of the most outstanding performers from the 202122 season. The results of the voting for both teams will be released at the end of the regular season
All-District Teams
The Eastern Conference has announced their all-district teams for the 2022 season. Player of the year honors went to Emily Dichiara of Florida.
The rest of the first team included Alyssa Keane of Kentucky, Riley Henry of Tennessee, and Allison Stutzman and Olivia Parker of Georgia.
The second team consisted of Kate Gibson and Abby Brothers of LSU, Destinee Greene of Alabama, Clare Kenney of Ole Miss Claire Hames of Arkansas, and Carolineab Copeland of Missouri.
All-State Teams
The All-State Teams are awards given to the best basketball players in each U.S. state at the end of their High School career. The All-State Teams are a part of the legend of American Basketball The teams were first selected in 1904 by Caspar Whitney and Walter Camp, and they have been selected every year since then by various media outlets. The teams usually consist of five players, but sometimes six or seven players are selected.

NIT Tournament Teams
NIT Tournament Teams
Determined by conference record at the end of the season, the top 8 eligible teams will be selected to participate in the tournament. The tournament is a single-elimination event with all games played at campus sites.
In order to be eligible for the tournament, a team must have a .500 record or better overall and must have played in at least 75% of their conference’s scheduled games.

State Tournament Teams
In 2022, the SEC had eight out of fourteen teams make it to the State Tournament This was the most of any conference in the nation. The SEC had three teams make it to the Elite Eight, and two teams make it to the Final Four. The SEC also had the player of the year, Jared Dichiara, who led his team to the Championship game

The Eastern Conference (SEC) is an American college Athletic Conference whose member institutions are located primarily in the Southern part of the United States Its fourteen members include the flagship public universities of ten states, three additional public land grant universities, and one private research university. The conference is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. The SEC participates in the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Division I in sports competition.
Players that have been named to the high school All-Star Teams are as follows:

North Carolina: Aliyah Boston- So Forward- 6’5″- Worcester MA (played HS ball at Wright HS in NC)
Oklahoma: Taylor Robertson- Guard- 5’8″- Mustang OK
South Carolina: Brea Beal- So. Guard/Forward- 6′- Chicago IL (played HS ball at Legacy Early College charter HS for two years before transferring to Heathwood Hall for her junior and senior years)
Tennessee: Zaay Green So. Guard- 5’10”- Nashville TN (played one year of high school ball at Brentwood academy before being declared academically ineligible for her sophomore year)
Texas : Rori Harmon- So. Guard/Forward- 5’11”- Lewisville TX
