The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional Ice Hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL).

The AHL’s regular season begins in October and ends in April. Each team plays 76 games total during the regular season The Regular Season standings are used to determine which teams qualify for the Calder Cup playoffs

The following is a list of standings for the AHL’s 2019-2020 Season as of October 13, 2019.

The league serves as the primary developmental league for both the National Hockey League (NHL) and the American Hockey League (AHL), and consists of 30 teams, of which 27 are in the United States and 3 in Canada. The AHL plays a regular season schedule from October through April each year, followed by playoffs.

As the American Hockey League enters into its 75th season, all eyes are on the league’s new Pacific Division The California rivalries have been well documented, but it’s the teams in the East that will be fighting for playoff positioning from day one.

The New England Patriots are off to a hot start, winning their first two games of the season. The Philadelphia Flyers sit at the top of the standings with a perfect 2-0 record, while the New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins are both 1-1.

The Washington Capitals are off to a slow start, losing their first two games of the season. The Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers are both still searching for their first win of the season.

The American Hockey League is in its 80th season of operation, and 30 teams are competing for the Calder Cup. The Syracuse Crunch are in first place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 3-0-0-0. The Charlotte Checkers are in second place, with a record of 2-0-0-0. The Hershey Bears are in third place, with a record of 1-0-1-0.

The Albany Devils and the Charlotte Checkers are both at the top of their respected divisions with a record of 2-0. The St. John’s IceCaps, Springfield Falcons, and GRand Rapids Griffins are all close behind with a 1-1 record.

The American hockey League’s Regular Season began last week, and there are already some clear front-runners in the standings. The Charlotte Checkers sit atop the Atlantic Division with a perfect 4-0 record, while the Tucson Roadrunners lead the way in the Pacific Division with a 3-1 mark. The Texas Stars and the Iowa Wild are both off to strong starts in the Central Division each with a 2-1-1 record.
