The best High School basketball players in the country are heading to Arkansas this fall. The Razorbacks are set to have a top-25 recruiting class led by guards Jalen Harris and Darius Days.

The Razorbacks got an early start to their recruiting for the fall of 2021 with the commitments of three players in the past week.

Baye Moussa Keita, a 6-foot-10 center from Florida, and Starks, a 6-foot-7 Power Forward from Alabama, both announced their intentions to play for Arkansas on Monday Night Starks is ranked as a four-star recruit by ESPN and is the No. 55 player in the country while Keita is a three-star recruit according to 247Sports.

The duo joins shooting guard Moses Moody as the first three pieces of what is shaping up to be a very talented Recruiting Class for the Razorbacks. Moody, who plays his high school basketball at Little Rock Parkview, is ranked as the No. 17 player in the country by ESPN and is a five-star recruit.

Baye Moussa Keita, a 6-foot-10 center from Senegal who attends Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut, has verbally committed to play basketball at Arkansas. He joins a recruiting class that was already ranked No. 11 nationally by ESPN and is headlined by Moses Kingsley, a 6-10 forward from Nigeria.

“All three of these young men have the potential to be very good players for us,” said Arkansas coach Mike Anderson “We are excited to add them to our program.”

Professional Career

Life has been a bit hectic for Baye Moussa Keita, Malik Monk and Miles Bridges since the fall. The senior trio from different high schools across the country have been on a tear, leading their teams to undefeated seasons and making headlines as Arkansas Razorback recruiting targets.

The 6-foot-10 Keita, a native of Senegal who attends Huntington (W.Va.) Prep, is averaging 13 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks per game. He has scholarship offers from more than 20 schools, including Arkansas, Louisville, Kansas and Marquette.

Monk, a 6-3 guard from Bentonville (Ark.) high school is one of the top recruits in the country. He is averaging 32 points per game and has scholarship offers from most major programs, including Arkansas, Kentucky, Duke and North Carolina

Bridges, a 6-6 forward from Flint (Mich.) Southwestern Academy, is averaging 27 points and 10 rebounds per game He has scholarship offers from Michigan State Notre Dame Purdue and Iowa State but has not ruled out Arkansas.

Retirement

Arkansas has landed a top-100 recruit for the first time in the Mike Anderson era.

Baye Moussa Keita, a 6-foot-10 center from Dakar, Senegal, who attends Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy, committed to the Razorbacks on Tuesday night. He joins a recruiting class that now includes three consensus top-100 prospects.
