The return of the Atlantic 10 baseball tournament
The Atlantic 10 Baseball Tournament is back and better than ever! After a one-year hiatus, the conference’s top eight teams will once again compete for the A-10 title. This year’s tournament will be held at Coca-Cola Park, home of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, from May 23-27.
The Atlantic 10 is one of the most competitive conferences in all of college baseball and this year’s tournament should be no different. The top four seeds in the tournament are all ranked in the top 25 in the nation, and all eight teams are capable of winning the title.
So which team is the favorite to win it all? That’s a tough question to answer, as there is no clear-cut favorite. But if we had to pick one team to win it all, we would go with the top-seeded Virginia Cavaliers The Cavaliers are one of the hottest teams in the country right now, having won 16 of their last 17 games. They also have plenty of experience playing in big games and tournaments, having won the College World Series in 2015.
But whatever happens, one thing is for sure: The Atlantic 10 Baseball Tournament is going to be must-see television for any college baseball fan. So make sure you tune in!

How the tournament has changed over the years
The Atlantic 10 Baseball Tournament is back for its 33rd edition! This year, the tournament will be held at RN-T batting cages in Newport News, Virginia from May 23-26. The top four teams in the conference will compete in a double-elimination format, with the winner receiving the A-10’s automatic bid to the Caa Baseball tournament
This year’s tournament will feature some changes from previous years. Most notably, the tournament has been reduced from eight teams to four. In addition, the Atlantic 10 has changed its method for determining seeding. Previously, seeding was based on each team’s regular season conference record. This year, however, seeding will be determined by each team’s overall record, regardless of conference affiliation.
With these changes, it will be interesting to see how the tournament unfolds. Will the top seeds be able to hold off the challengers? Can a team with a losing record make a run? We’ll find out soon enough!

Who are the favorites to win the tournament
Now that the regular season is over, it’s time to crown a champion in the Atlantic 10 baseball tournament The four-team, double-elimination tournament will be held at Fordham’s Houlihan Park from May 23-25. Here’s a look at the four teams that will be vying for the title.
#1 Seed – Fordham Rams
The Rams have been one of the best teams in the country all season and they come into the tournament as the top seed They have a deep and talented pitching staff that has been shutting down opponents all year long. Their offense has also been very good, led by first baseman Chris Hess, who is hitting .360 with 15 home runs and 46 RBI. The Rams are definitely the team to beat in this tournament.
#2 Seed – VCU Rams
The VCU Rams are also a strong team and they come into the tournament as the second seed. They don’t have quite as much depth on their pitching staff as Fordham does, but their top starters, Michael Dailey and Connor Gillispie, are both very good. Their offense is also potent, led by third baseman Jake Mueller, who is hitting .356 with 13 home runs and 45 RBI. The Rams will be a tough out in this tournament.
#3 Seed – St. Bonaventure Bonnies
The Bonnies come into the tournament as the third seed after finishing the Regular Season with a 27-23 record. They don’t have much star power on their roster, but they do have a lot of solid players who can contribute in a variety of ways. Their pitching staff has been solid all year long, and their offense has been decent, led by second basemanDanny Barlok, who is hitting .306 with seven home runs and 37 RBI. The Bonnies will be a tough opponent for anyone in this tournament.
#4 Seed – George Mason Patriots
The Patriots come into the tournament as the fourth seed after finishing the regular season with a 26-24 record. They are a bit of a unknown quantity coming into this tournament because they had some ups and downs during the Regular Season However, they do have some talent on their roster, led by pitcher Ryan Jensen who is 9-2 with a 2.48 ERA., and infielder Braden Beam, who is hitting .360 with eight Home Runs and 39 RBI. If they can get hot at the right time, they could make some noise in this tournament.]
