Ala Baseball is a semi-Professional Baseball League based in the Philippines. The league was founded in 2006 by Filipino-American businessman and baseball enthusiast Tony Ayala Sr.

The league is made up of six teams, all of which are based in the Manila area. The teams are the Manila Bucks, Makati Mets, Pasig Pirates, Quezon City Royals Valenzuela Lambs, and the Mandaluyong Elks.

In 1988, a group of former players founded the Association for Women’s Baseball, which works to promote the Game of Baseball among women and girls. The Association also provides support and financial assistance to former AAGPBL players who are in need.

After an incredible inaugural season, the Ayala Baseball League is gearing up for what promises to be an even better second season.

With six teams from across Southern California competing in a round-robin format, the league has quickly become one of the premier destination for amateur baseball in the region.

This year, the league is expanding to eight teams, with the addition of two new teams from Los Angeles The new teams will be announced later this month.

In addition to the expansion, the league is also planning on introduce a new playoff format that will culminate in a Championship game at Angel Stadium.
