There are a lot of different basketball circuits out there, but which ones are the best? Here’s a look at the top basketball circuits in the country.

The AAU

The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), founded in 1888, is one of the largest, non-profit, volunteer, sports organizations in the world. With over 500,000 members nationwide, the AAU is dedicated to the promotion and development of amateur sports programs.

The AAU Basketball program currently has over 25,000 teams representing all 50 states and Washington D.C. The AAU currently offers 17 different National Championship events for Boys and Girls from 3rd grade through college. The AAU Basketball season runs from April through July with regional tournaments being held throughout the country leading up to the AAU National Championships

The AAU National Championships are single Nation Tournaments with winner moving on to the next round until a champion is crowned in each division. The AAU National Championships are held at various locations around the country each year and are typically host to several hundred teams in each division.

The EYBL

The EYBL, or Elite Youth Basketball League is a nationwide AAU circuit that is sponsored by Nike. The league consists of Nike-sponsored grassroots teams from all over the country, and it is considered to be one of the top circuits in the country. Many of the nation’s top college and NBA prospects participate in the EYBL, and it is a great way for them to get exposure and improve their game against top competition.

The Nike Grassroots Basketball League

The Nike Grassroots Basketball league (NGBA) is one of the top basketball circuits in the country. Featuring some of the best young talent in the game, the NGBA is a Great Place to see the future stars of the sport. With several divisions and age groups, there is something for everyone at the NGBA.

The Adidas Gauntlet

An organization affiliated with Adidas, the Adidas Gauntlet is one of the top High School basketball circuits in the country. With more than 100 teams competing in events held in various cities across the United States the Gauntlet provides top-level competition for some of the best high school basketball players in the country.

The Under Armour Association

The Under Armour Association (UAA) is one of the top basketball circuits in the country. It is made up of the best grassroots teams in the country and competes in tournaments across the country. The UAA has produced many top college and professional players, including NBA All-Stars Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant

The Pangos Sweet Sixteen

The Pangos Sweet Sixteen is an annual event that takes place every summer in Los Angeles California. The event features some of the top high school basketball players in the country.

The Las Vegas Classic

The Las Vegas Classic is one of the Top Basketball circuits in the country. Every year, the best high school teams from all over the country come to Las Vegas to compete in this prestigious event.

In order to be the best, you have to beat the best. For high-level high school basketball players that means taking their game to one of the top summer circuits in the country. From coast-to-coast, these circuits draw in the top talent from across the nation and provide a platform for them to compete against their peers.

The following circuits are considered to be the cream of the crop and regularly produce NBA talent. If you’re a high-level player looking to take your game to the next level, these are the circuits you need to be on.

Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL)
Based out of Portland, Oregon, the Nike EYBL is widely considered to be the top summer circuit in the country. The circuit is made up of 32 of the most elite grassroots programs in America and each team is allowed up to 10 players on their roster. The EYBL takes place over a five-week period in April and May with regular season games being played at various locations around the country. The top 24 teams then advance to the Peach Jam tournament held in South Carolina where they battle it out for the EYBL title.

Adidas Gauntlet
The Adidas Gauntlet is another one of Nike’s chief competitors on the grassroots circuit. Based out of Dallas, Texas, Adidas launched their circuit in 2015 in an effort to challenge Nike’s dominance in grassroots basketball The Gauntlet consists of 80 teams divided into four divisions (Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Platinum) based on their level of talent. The regular season runs from April through July with tournaments being held all over the country. Similar to Nike’s Peach Jam tournament, Adidas hosts a Finals Week event at the end of July where all four divisions compete for a chance to win a share of $100,000 in prize money.

Under Armour Association (UAA)
The Under Armour Association was founded in 2016 and is currently made up of 70 teams from across America. Based out of Charlotte, North Carolina this circuit runs from April through July with Regular Season tournaments being held across various locations nationwide. All 70 teams are invited to participate in UA’s annual finals event which takes place at Suwanee Sports Academy near Atlanta, Georgia. Here, teams compete for a chance to win a share of $100,000 in prize money as well as an automatic bid to Under Armour’s Elite 24 All-Star game which features some of the best high school players from around America

The Peach Jam

The Peach Jam is one of the top basketballcircuits in the country. This highly competitive tournament takes place in South Carolina every summer and features some of the best high school basketball teams from across the nation.

The Fab Forty

The Fab Forty is a term given to the top 40 High School basketball programs in the United States These programs are typically located in large metropolitan areas and are known for their competitive play and strong tradition.
