Indian Hills Community College in Iowa has won five NJCAA Division I National Championships in men’s basketball, most recently in 2016. The program has also produced numerous NBA players including superstars Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Tolliver.

There is a lot of excitement surrounding the top JUCO basketball recruits in the country. These 10 players are all elite athletes that have the potential to make an immediate impact at the Division 1 level.

1. Rayjon Tucker- The 6’5” guard from Arkansas is an electric scorer that can also make plays for his teammates. He averaged over 20 points per game last season and will be a major contributor for his team this year.
2. Markus Howard- The 5’11” guard from Texas is one of the best shooters in the country. He shot over 50% from three-point range last season and should be one of the leading scorers in the country this year.
3. Zion Williamson The 6’7” forward from South Carolina is a physical specimen that can dominate games with his athleticism and strength. He averaged over 22 points and 9 rebounds per game last season and will be a candidate for National Player of the Year this season.
4. Jalen Adams- The 6’3” guard from Connecticut is a dynamic playmaker that can score or facilitate for his teammates. He averaged over 17 points and 6 assists per game last season and will be one of the leaders for his team this year.

The Top 10 JUCO Basketball Transfers

As the end of the college basketball season approaches, eligible College Basketball Players around the country are looking to transfer to new schools. In order to be eligible to play immediately at their new school, they must first complete a minimum of two years at their previous school and have not more than two years of eligibility remaining.

In recent years there has been an increase in the number of players who are transferring from one school to another. The reasons for this vary, but often include playing time fit within a system, or a change in Coaching Staff Whatever the reason, these players must go through a evaluation process by the NCAA Eligibility Center in order to be cleared to play at their new school.
