Introduction

Brock University’s baseball team is off to a great start this season. The team has already won several games and is looking to continue their Winning Streak This year, the team is made up of mostly new players, but they are already showing great promise.

The team’s coach, Joe Vavrina, is very optimistic about the season. “We have a good mix of veteran players and newcomers,” he said. “I think we have a real chance to do something special this year.”

So far, the team has been living up to coach Vavrina’s expectation. They have already won several games and are showing no signs of slowing down. With their hard work and dedication, the Brock Baseball Team is sure to have a great season.

The Team

This year’s team is looking better than ever with a strong lineup of returners and new recruits. The team has been working hard in the off-season and is eager to make a run at the championship.

The Schedule

The 2016 Brock baseball schedule has been finalized and the Badgers are poised to make another run at the OUA title.

Brock will open their season on the road against the McMaster Marauders on Saturday, May 7th. The Badgers will play their home opener the following weekend, when they host the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday, May 14th at George Taylor Field.

Brock will look to defend their OUA title in 2016, after defeating the Western Mustangs in the 2015 OUA Championship game The Badgers will have their work cut out for them, as they have been placed in a tough division with powerhouse programs such as Toronto, Queen’s and Ottawa.

The Brock Badgers baseball team is one of the most successful programs in U SPORTS over the last decade. The Badgers have won 5 U sports championships in the last 10 years, and have produced numerous Major League Baseball draft picks including 6 in the first 10 rounds of the MLB Draft The team has also been ranked #1 in Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) for 4 consecutive years.

Since then, Brock has become one of the most successful Collegiate Baseball programs in the country.
