Danny Ainge

Danny Ainge was selected by the Boston Celtics in the 1981 NBA draft with the 31st overall pick. He played 14 seasons with the Celtics, winning two NBA championships Ainge was a member of the 1985-86 All-Rookie first team, and he also won the Three-Point Shootout contest in 1986. After his playing career, Ainge served as the Head Coach of the Phoenix Suns and is currently the president of basketball operations for the Celtics.

Mark Eaton

Mark Eaton is a retired American professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for eleven seasons. He played college basketball for Brigham Young University (BYU). He was a two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and a four-time All-Star. Eaton currently ranks second in NBA history in both total blocks and blocks per game.

Eaton was born and raised in Salt Lake City Utah. He played High School basketball at Olympus high school where he was named Utah’s Mr. Basketball in 1978. Eaton attended Brigham Young University where he played for the BYU Cougars men’s basketball team from 1978 to 1982. As a senior in 1981–82, he was named the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Player of the Year and helped lead BYU to the WAC championship and an NCAA tournament berth. Eaton was selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 11th overall pick in the 1982 NBA Draft

Eaton spent his entire 11-year NBA Career with the Pacers, playing primarily as a backup center behind Steve Stipanovich from 1982 to 1988 and then as a starter from 1988 to 1993. He averaged 10 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks per game during his career, all while shooting over 60 percent from the field. His best season came in 1984–85 when he averaged 12 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks per game for Indiana. For his efforts that season, he was named to his first All-Star game and named NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

Following his retirement from playing Professional Basketball in 1993, Eaton worked as a color analyst on Pacers’ radio broadcasts from 1994 to 1997. From 2000 to 2008, he served as an Assistant Coach for the Phoenix Suns

Mel Hutchins

Melvin Eugene “Mel” Hutchins (born December 9, 1923) is an American former professional basketball player He played 11 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Hutchins was born in Holbrook, Idaho and played collegiately at Brigham Young University. As a junior, he was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 1943 NCAA Tournament after leading the Cougars to the Championship game Hutchins was also named an All-American in 1943 and 1944.

Jimmer Fredette

Jimmer Fredette, shooting guard for the Chicago Bulls is one of the top BYU NBA players of all time. A scoring machine in college, Fredette was drafted 10th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks He was traded to the Bulls in 2012, where he has been a key rotation player and spot starter. In his three years in the NBA, Fredette has averaged nearly 10 points per game and is a fan favorite for his shooting prowess and outgoing personality.

At 7’6”, Shawn Bradley is one of the tallest players in NBA history He played center for the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets and Dallas Mavericks Bradley was drafted 2nd overall by the Sixers in the 1993 NBA draft In his rookie season, he averaged 3.5 blocks per game, which is still a rookie record. He went on to play 12 seasons in the NBA, averaging 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game.
