Caldwell University Baseball began in 1963 as a Division III program and moved to Division II in 1987. The team has been a part of the Northeast-10 Conference since 2006. Caldwell has made three NCAA Division II tournament appearances, all under the guidance of Head Coach Anthony Capozzi. The Cougars have compiled a 669-698-6 all-time record in 53 seasons of play.

Stadium

The Caldwell baseball stadium is located in the heart of downtown Caldwell. The stadium has a capacity of 2,500 people and is home to the Caldwell baseball team The stadium is also home to the Caldwell minor League Baseball team. The stadium has a field that is made of turf. The dimensions of the field are as follows: home plate to first base is 80 feet, first base to second base is 100 feet, second base to third base is 120 feet, and third base to home plate is 60 feet. The stadium also has a bullpen that can hold up to four pitchers at a time.
