2019 CBU Baseball Roster

Check out the 2019 CBU baseball roster The Lancers will look to defend their conference title with a strong group of returners and some talented newcomers.

2019 Season Outlook

The 2019 CBU Lancers will have a very young team, with only 3 returners from last year’s squad. The team will be looking to these upperclassmen to provide leadership and guidance throughout the season. The pitching staff looks to be the strength of the team, with a lot of experience and depth. The offense will need to improve from last year, when they were near the bottom of the league in most offensive categories. If they can do that, and the pitching staff can perform up to expectations, the Lancers should have a successful season

CBU Baseball roster Breakdown

CBU Baseball is gearing up for another exciting season, and we’ve got your complete roster breakdown right here. From our new additions to our returning stars, this team is sure to be one to watch.

Leading the pack is Senior pitcher Matt Sherman, who has been with the team for four years. Matt brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the mound, and we’re excited to see what he can do this season.

Also returning is Junior catcher Jake Henderson. Jake had an incredible season last year, and we know he’ll be looking to build on that success this year. He’s a key player on both Offense and defense and we’re glad to have him back.

Rounding out our returning players are Seniors Tyler Dobson and Nick Messina. Tyler is a versatile player who can play both infield and outfield, while Nick is a hard-throwing lefty who will add depth to our pitching staff. We’re excited to see what these two veteran players can do this season.

We’ve also got some new faces joining the team this year, and we know they’re going to make an impact. Freshman pitcher Kyle Smith is already turning heads in practice, and we can’t wait to see what he can do in game situations. We’ve also got two new outfielders joining the team this year: Sophomore transfer student Ryan James and Freshman Eric Johnson. Both Ryan and Eric are talented young players who we think will make an immediate impact on the team.

So there you have it! Be sure to keep an eye on CBU Baseball this season as we look to make a run at the conference title
