Second, Charlton County has had Great players In 2017, pitcher Hunter Barco was named Gatorade Player of the Year for Georgia. Barco was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2018 in the 2nd round of the MLB Draft – one of the highest drafts for a Charlton County player ever.
