The Christ The King high school basketball team is one of the most successful programs in New York City history. The team has won five State Championships and numerous Catholic League and city titles. The team is currently ranked No. 1 in New York State and No. 3 in the nation by USA Today

The Christ the King high school Basketball team is composed of student-athletes from all over New York City The team is led by Head Coach Joe Arbitello, who has been with the program for over 30 years. assistant coaches include Anthony Meo, Frank Pacheco, and John Kostelac.
