Columbia basketball scores Big in Win Against Dartmouth
The Columbia Lions men’s basketball team had a Big Win against the Dartmouth Big Green on Saturday, February 8. The game was played at Columbia’s Levien Gymnasium in New York City Columbia won by a score of 70-56.
This was a significant win for Columbia, as Dartmouth is one of the top teams in the Ivy League The Lions are now 14-9 on the season and 4-4 in conference play They are tied for fifth place in the Ivy League standings with Penn and Princeton.
Columbia was led by Mike Smith, who scored 22 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field. He also had four assists and four steals in the game. Luke Petrasek added 12 points and seven rebounds off the bench for the Lions.
The Lions next game will be at home against Cornell on Friday, February 14.
