We would like to welcome you to Cruz Baseball. Our mission is simple: To provide an enjoyable and memorable experience for all who participate in our programs.

We offer something for everyone, from our highly competitive Travel teams to our very popular Recreational programs. We also offer a unique and affordable Home School program, as well as clinics and individual instruction.

What is Cruz Baseball?

Cruz Baseball is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is committed to providing year-round opportunities for youth to participate in organized Baseball And Softball programs. Our programs are designed to develop physically and mentally tough young athletes who excel both on and off the field.

Cruz Baseball was founded in 2013 by former Major League Baseball player, Fernando Rodney. Rodney, who is from the Dominican Republic was inspired to create Cruz Baseball after witnessing the lack of opportunity for children in his home country to play organized baseball.

Since its inception, Cruz Baseball has grown rapidly, serving over 1,000 children and families each year. We currently offer programs for players of all ages and abilities, including our Little League Division (ages 4-12), our Junior League Division (ages 13-16), and our Cruz Developmental Academy (ages 17-19).

In addition to our playing divisions, Cruz Baseball also offers a variety of other programs and services, such as our Nutrition & Wellness Program, our Mental Performance Program, and our Leadership Development Program. These programs are designed to teach our players the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, developing a strong mental approach to competition, and becoming leaders in their communities.

Cruz Baseball is more than just a place to play baseball – it’s a family. Our staff, coaches, volunteers, and families are all united by our common goal of positively impacting the lives of our youth through the Game of Baseball
