Introduction

This list takes a look at the top ten teams in the Dakstats Aia Baseball rankings for the 2022 season. It includes teams from all across the country, from Oregon to Florida. This list is based on a number of factors, including recent results, Strength of Schedule and overall talent level.

The top ten Teams of 2022

Dakstats Naia baseball has released its preseason top 25 for the 2022 season. Defending National Champion Lewis-Clark State is once again atop the poll, receiving all 16 first-place votes.

The Pilots are followed by runner-up Oklahoma City iosynonymous with success at the NAIA level. The Stars have won five national titles in the last seven years and are once again the preseason favorite to win it all in 2021.

Rounding out the top five are Faulkner, Georgia Gwinnett, and Cumberland. All five of these teams made it to at least the semifinals of last year’s tournament and are all returning a significant amount of talent.

The rest of the top ten features a mix of familiar faces and newcomers. Defending conference champions Lubbock Christian and British Columbia sit at six and seven, respectively. The Hornets return a wealth of pitching talent while the Thunderbirds bring back one of the best hitters in all of Naia Baseball in first baseman Reece Usselman.

At eight is Bellevue, who will be looking to make it back-to-back appearances in the World Series after finishing as national runners-up in 2020. The Bruins are followed by Keiser and Midland, who round out the top ten.

Just outside the top ten are Reinhardt, Arizona Christian Oklahoma Baptist Corban, and Tennessee Wesleyan These five teams all have a chance to make noise in this year’s tournament and could find themselves near the top of next year’s poll if they can put it all together.

The 2022 Dakstats Aia baseball Tournament

The 2022 Dakstats NAIA Baseball Tournament will be held from May 27-June 3. The ten teams that have qualified for the tournament are:

The 2022 Dakstats Naia baseball World Series will be held in Wichita, Kansas, from May 27 to June 3. This will be the first time the event has been held in Wichita since 2001. The ten teams that will be competing in the World Series are:

The 2022 Dakstats Naia Baseball All-Americans

The Dakstats Aia baseball All-Americans for 2022 have been announced. The team is made up of the top ten players in the nation, as voted on by a panel of experts.

The team is headlined bypitcher Tyler Green who is a junior at Oral Roberts University Green is one of the top prospects in the country and is expected to be a high draft pick in next year’s MLB Draft

The 2022 Dakstats Naia Baseball Playoffs

The NAIA baseball playoffs are set to take place from May 27- June 2, 2022. This will be the first time that the NAIA Baseball Playoffs will be held in the new 10-team format. The top ten teams in the nation will be seed and placed into a double-elimination bracket, with the #1 and #2 seeds receiving a first-round bye.

The first two rounds of the playoffs will be held at campus sites, with the location of the finals yet to be determined.

The 2022 Dakstats Naia Baseball Championship

The 2022 Dakstats NAIA Baseball Championship will be held in May at Meador Park in Joplin, Missouri. The event is a double-elimination tournament featuring eight of the best teams from across the country. The top two seeds will receive first-round byes, while the remaining teams will play in a four-team, first-round pool. The winner of each pool will advance to the semifinals, with the winners meeting in the Championship game
